Clifford Devlin has commenced a large-scale asbestos removal project for a new client, marking the start of an exciting new working relationship.

The project involves the safe removal of asbestos-containing ceilings, ceiling grids, and associated debris across six full cinema auditoriums as part of a wider refurbishment programme. Due to the scale and complexity of the works, the project is being delivered under a carefully managed, non-licensed asbestos removal plan.

Clifford Devlin’s in house asbestos removal team is operating under strict health, safety, and environmental controls, utilising specialist access equipment and proven removal techniques to ensure the works are carried out safely and efficiently. All asbestos waste is securely packaged and transported to our own waste transfer facility in line with regulatory requirements.

Independent air monitoring and reassurance testing are being undertaken throughout the programme to maintain the highest safety standards. The works are carried out within controlled zones to minimise risk to operatives, other contractors, and the wider environment.

The project is overseen by the senior management and on-site supervision team, with regular inspections and monitoring in place to ensure full compliance with current legislation.
