Clifford Devlin were appointed to carry out a full refurbishment of the car park at Phoenix House in Great Yarmouth, delivering a high-quality resurfacing solution that has improved the site's appearance, durability and functionality.
The project began with the removal of the existing gravel and grid system before new foundations and base layers were constructed to create a robust, long-lasting surface. New surfacing was then installed, alongside improved drainage to enhance surface water management, before the works were completed with fresh line markings to provide a safe and clearly defined parking area.
As part of the wider refurbishment, we also carried out vegetation clearance, rebuilt a damaged boundary wall and replaced sections of fencing, ensuring the surrounding infrastructure was restored to the same high standard.
Located alongside neighbouring businesses and healthcare facilities, the project required careful planning to maintain access and minimise disruption throughout the works. By adopting a phased approach and maintaining a safe working environment, we were able to complete the project efficiently while ensuring the site remained fully operational.
The completed scheme has transformed the car park into a modern, durable and well-presented facility that will provide a safe, practical and long-lasting asset for Phoenix House for years to come.
