Clifford Devlin completed a package of licensed asbestos removal works at a residential building in Lancaster Gate, London, as part of a wider refurbishment and heating upgrade programme.
The works focused on the basement boiler room and involved removing asbestos-containing thermal insulation residue from the walls. Following removal, our specialist team carried out a full environmental clean and encapsulated the treated surfaces, preparing the area for the subsequent refurbishment works.
The package was delivered within a fully controlled enclosure. Working within a live residential building required careful coordination with the wider project team to manage the interface between the asbestos removal works and the refurbishment programme.
On completion, an independent UKAS-accredited analytical company undertook the four-stage clearance process. Following successful clearance, the area was handed back, allowing the heating upgrade and wider refurbishment works to continue.
The project demonstrates Clifford Devlin’s capability to deliver specialist licensed asbestos removal within residential settings, integrating controlled remediation works into a wider building improvement programme.
