Client: Maldon District Council
Duration: 12 Weeks
Location: Maldon, Essex
As part of Maldon District Council’s Promenade Park Management Plan, refurbishment works to the park’s brick-built food kiosks have now been successfully completed.
The project was undertaken to enhance the appearance and longevity of the kiosks while ensuring they complemented the evolving heritage character of Promenade Park. Working closely with the Council, a programme of external improvements was delivered, including the installation of new cladding, roof repairs, upgrades to the rainwater goods, and the design and installation of bespoke signage.
These enhancements have transformed the kiosks, creating a more modern and refined appearance while remaining sympathetic to their surroundings. The completed works have helped to improve the overall visitor experience and provide an attractive focal point along the promenade ahead of the busy summer season.
The finished result is a significant improvement to the park’s facilities and supports Maldon District Council’s ongoing investment in one of the district’s most popular destinations.
"We are very happy with the finished kiosks – thank you to you and to the team for their hard work in making them a success! Has been great working with you." - Corporate & Capital Projects Programme Manager, Maldon District Council.
