Client: Construction Company

Duration: 4 Weeks

Location: London, NW1

Clifford Devlin were appointed by a new client to deliver specialist asbestos removal works as part of wider roof replacement programmes at various residential properties in North London.

The project involved the safe removal of asbestos-containing roof materials, alongside asbestos watch-and-brief services to support planned window and fire door replacement works. Throughout the project, our team worked closely with the client and associated contractors to ensure all activities were delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with the overall programme.

Working within an occupied residential building required careful planning and coordination to minimise disruption to tenants and leaseholders while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Our environmental team developed and implemented a detailed plan of work for the safe removal and disposal of the asbestos-containing roof materials. Close collaboration with the client's roofing contractor ensured the programme remained on track, while measures were put in place to ensure the property was fully weatherproofed immediately following completion of the removal works.

Alongside the roofing project, our team provided asbestos watch-and-brief services to facilitate the client's window and fire door replacement programme. By working closely with all contractors on site, we helped ensure these works progressed safely and efficiently.

The project was completed safely, on programme, and without incident. Through effective collaboration between our environmental team, the client, and principal contractors, we successfully enabled the wider refurbishment works to progress while maintaining a safe environment for residents, leaseholders, and operatives.
