We understand the importance of providing a documented record of the environmental activities we employ. As well as preparing and continuously updating the Site Waste Management Plan we will provide updates at regular intervals (typically weekly) on all of the environmental measures to the environmental consultants and the Principal Contractor.
On completion we prepare and submit a digest of all environmental data into what we call a Project Close-Out Report. Originally designed to comply with the CDM Regulations the Close-Out Report has now developed into a considerable body of work which includes data about:
- Waste management
- Pollution monitoring data
- Energy consumption (inc calculation of carbon footprint)
- Photographic evidence to illustrate methodology and stages of demolition
This can be circulated to all interested parties and is very useful for the purposes of environmental and regulatory compliance and as a way of cross-fertilising environmental best practice throughout the development’s supply chain.
